Beanie Bites Brownie Instructions
You’ve got two ways to make this:
- No added sugar or oil. A light and healthy brownie that you can enjoy any time of day, with just 2 added ingredients.
- A gooey, dessert-worthy brownie sure to please everyone, with just 3 added ingredients. If you're going to a birthday party, bring these.
However you bake it, one thing’s certain: each bite is loaded with plant protein and fiber, giving you lasting energy and real fuel instead of the crash of a traditional brownie.

For a light & healthy brownie
To make the whole bag, you'll need:
- 3 medium bananas (mashed) OR 1.5 cup of applesauce
- Milk of your choice (see below for amounts)
To make half of the bag:
- 1 very full cup of the mix
- 1.5 bananas or .75 cup applesauce
- Milk of your choice (see below for amounts)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325° F
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Add milk 1 Tb at a time until you combined and spreadable. If you're using banana, you should need around 6. If you're using applesauce, you'll only need 1 or 2.
- Add desired mix-ins
- Bake for 25-35 min, or until a knife comes out clean.
*Important: This mix contains raw black beans. Do not eat the dough, seriously it doesn't taste good!! It won't hurt you, but the flavor develops when you cook it. Please ensure your Beanie Bites creations are thoroughly cooked before consuming.
*You can always add 1-2 Tb sweetener if you want it a bit sweeter

For an indulgent dessert brownie
To make the whole bag, you'll need:
- 3 medium bananas (mashed) OR 1.5 cup of applesauce
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup natural liquid sweetener: Choose a non-refined liquid sweetener like date syrup, maple syrup, or honey. You can also use a sugar-free syrup like monkfruit.
To make half of the bag:
- 1 very full cup of the mix
- 1.5 bananas or 2/3 cup applesauce
- 2 heaping Tb melted coconut oil
- 2 Tb natural liquid sweetener.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325° F
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Add desired mix-ins.
- Bake at 325° F for 25-35 min, or until a knife comes out clean.
